The Berry Empire, nestled in the small farming community of Aurora, Oregon halfway between Salem and Portland, is renowned for growing some of the best cane berries in the Willamette Valley.

Founded in 1981 by Nicholas and Natasha Dubenko, who immigrated to the United States from Russia via China, The Berry Empire now produces over 15 varieties of berries including a “Secret Variety” Strawberry, a blackberry we call the “Monster berry”, and our very own “Emperor Berry”, a unique blend of several berries; large, aromatic, robust in flavor, developed by Emperor Nicholas himself.

Our berries are handpicked at the peak of their season to insure the best quality and taste and are available fresh from June through September at our berry stand conveniently located at the entrance of the Berry Empire. Frozen berries are available all year round.
